Howard K. Stern, Anna Nicole Smith’s lawyer/companion was always at her side. Wherever Anna was, there was Howard. Previously Anna had described Howard as her best friend. It seemed Howard was completely in love with Anna.
Before Anna’s death, many people close to Anna were upset with Howard. But now Anna is dead, a huge black cloud of suspicion is all over Howard. Some people believe that he is responsible for her death and also the death of her beloved son Daniel Smith.
On an interview with Nancy Grace, Anna’s Mom Virgie Arthur basically said that Daniel was murdered by Howard, then she looked straight in the camera and pleaded with Anna to be careful about who she hangs around because she may be next.
“Vicky Lynn,” (Anna’s real name) said Virgie, “You Know I love you and always have. Please be careful or you may be next.”
5 months later, Anna Nicole Smith was dead.
Some people believe Howard did Anna in for the money. Since he is listed on the birth certificate as Dannielynn’s father, even though he probably isn’t her biological father, he is still the legal father, so all of Anna’s estimated $436 million dollar estate would go to him.
If Daniel were alive, he would have inherited Anna’s estate. With Daniel dead, the way is clear for Howard to inherit though he may face tough challenges over custody of Dannielynn, the million dollar baby.
One eyewitness reports seeing Howard flush medicine down the toilet in the hospital room of the Bahamas soon after Daniel was discovered dead. Other people claim Howard gave Anna drugs, which may be the cause of her death, just like her son Daniel.
Some friends and relatives say that Howard K. Stern isolated her from them and would not let Anna talk to them, nor let them visit Anna. Larry Birkhead blames Howard for Anna fleeing to the Bahamas and not letting him see his baby.
A few witnesses also report that shortly before her death, Anna grew sick of Howard and was shooing him away from her like an annoying bug.
So, was Howard K. Stern in some way responsible for Anna’s death? Only he knows that. Was he in love with Anna herself, or the money and lifestyle that went along with it? Let’s hope Howard really loved Anna and wouldn’t dream of harming a hair on her head, the way he seemed to be before recent events.
