Would a California judge really sentence a celebrity heiress to serve jail time even though it seems celebs can get away with murder? Most likely not, but it’s still a possibility that heiress Paris Hilton could serve jail time.
While Paris was speeding with her lights off, she was caught driving with a suspended license which violates her probation terms. Her license was suspended because of a previous DUI. She was found in violation of her probation and the judge she faces has the power to sentence her to 90 days in prison.
I’m betting she won’t serve a day of prison. Community service and a fine it probably the worst she will get. A lot of people would like to see her in prison for 3 months though, living in a small cell with a cell mate and wearing a prison jumpsuit and not having a second of privacy, even to use the toilet. Wouldn’t it be funny it the sentencing judge was one of those people?
Paris’ rep claims Paris didn’t know her license was suspended, but the City Attorney’s Office isn’t buying it. Remember that whole episode with getting caught driving drunk, pleading no contest, getting probation and your license suspended, Paris?
The hearing is set for April 17th. Meanwhile is Mr. Hilton making phone calls trying to bribe a certain judge?
