Rosie O’Donnell was supposed to leave “The View” next month, but it was just announced today that she will not be returning to co-host “The View.”

Apparently she is just tired of fighting and arguing her points particularly the Iraq war and Bush administration. Her cat fight with Elisabeth Hasselbeck was it. After their little verbal war, Rosie doesn’t want to come back.

 She has been stirring up controversy and making headlines since she started as a co-host and making a lot of friends and enemies along the way. Because of Rosie, people who had never even heard of the show “The View” now knew about it.

Rosie started so many controversies, it seemed she enjoyed them, but now it’s just not fun anymore for her.

On her blog, she hinted she was finished with her job. She wrote she had said all she needed to say, she was sad, and that when painting, you must step away from the canvas when it’s done.

Rosie is happy ABC let her out of her contract and says she loves all her co-hosts. Who knows what’s next for Rosie, but it’s probably not the last we’ve heard of her.

Now ABC has to decide who will fill Rosie’s spot on “The View.”

And meanwhile, Star Jones is laughing at it all.
