Donald Trump and his show “The Apprentice” are coming back to NBC, but this time it will be a celebrity version. Celebrities in the entertainment, sports, and fashion areas are welcome to try out for the show, and the winner would donate prize money to the charity of their choice instead of actually going to work.
Trump’s nemesis Rosie O’Donnell, who is a big charity supporter is also encouraged. Trump’s spokeswoman said, “It will never happen in this lifetime or beyond.”
But Ben Silverman, the entertainment cheif of NBC disagrees and says, “It would be great to have Rosie on `The Apprentice’. “Donald personally told me to extend an invitation to her.”
Don’t get too excited though, because Rosie’s spokeswoman wasn’t exactly thrilled with the idea and it looks like Rosie wouldn’t consider it.
